Niko Millias

Niko Millias is a Senior Acoustic Engineer at BACCH Laboratories, Inc. He is an experienced engineer with a variety of skills to solve complex problems using innovative solutions.

Niko has a BS degree in electrical engineering from University of California: San Diego. Niko’s passion for music and audio led him into the technical world behindall that is audio. From a start in live sound and production through studio recording into signal processing and Acoustics Niko has bridged his creative pursuits with his technical background.

Utilizing a comprehensive understanding of acoustic systems including both hardware and software, Niko applies his skills from technology conception through product development to testing and verification. With knowledge spanning research and development, system design, tuning, as well as measurement and validation, Niko can approach projects from any angle, working with clients and inter-disciplinary teams in a collaborative effort.

Niko’s skills include testing and measurement with Soundcheck and Audio Precision Systems including knowledge in software development working with JUCE framework, DSPs, and other specific toolsets and platforms in languages including MATLAB, C, C++ and MaxMSP.
